There are a few really cool time lapse videos out there that show off and highlight Toronto. I have lived in this city for 9 years now, after moving here to attend OCAD U, and absolutely love it. I am not sure I’ll live here forever, but it will always act as a home base and hold a special place in my heart. OCAD U is in a great location too, close to everything cool in Toronto from Queen st West, to Kensington market and much more!
When I see these videos, they make me all warm and fuzzy and remind me what a cool city this is. It’s not the oldest, or the most beautiful, or the biggest – but it’s cool. It’s full of unique people that come from all different background, countries, religions and cultures. It’s full of art and design, cyclists and a great transit system, tall buildings and small neighborhoods, great food and neat attractions, museums, art galleries, parks and skating rinks. There are still new areas I am discovering, and I always try to look at this city as a place to explore, and it never disappoints.
These videos cover some of the well known sights; the CN tower, the Skydome (Rogers Center), Dundas Square, Eatons Centre, Chinatown, St. Lawrence Market, the Subway/TTC system, the Toronto Islands etc…
