Mehnaz Aydemir has a BA in Industrial Design and completed her Master in Design degree at OCAD University, Digital Futures program. Mehnaz has interest in digital installations, product design with digital touch, and wearables. She dreams of a future where all children can play and learn in a new education system that can be based on creativity.


Project –¬†FAERA & KOZA


FAERA & KOZA stands for a face and emotion recognition app and sensory development chair developed for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The app is a face & emotion recognition puzzle game which sends digital feedback to the chair as a reward at the end of the game. The KOZA chair is a sensory environment that includes tactile objects and light indicators with a proximity sensor. KOZA chair invites the child with ASD to sit down and play and learn with the FAERA app.
