Sept.8-12: Looking for the class of 2019

Icon for on the agenda

No sooner have we welcomed the Class of 2018 and settled you all into your courses (almost), then it’s time for us to scour the world for the next generation of artists, designers, inventors and cultural leaders to apply to OCAD U for 2015.  This week, in between regular meetings with staff and the first Senate committee meetings of the year, I’ll be:

  • Preparing for the Ontario Universities Fair, coming up Sept.19-21 at the Metro Convention Centre.
  • Putting the finishing touches on our sections of the new OCAD U website, launching shortly.
  • Checking out the Student Gallery‘s first exhibition of the year – Ultra Rare: A creative placemaking lab (opening Sept.11)

Also, I’ll be looking for something to do Monday between 6 pm – 10 pm as IT has notified us that the staff and faculty email service will be unavailable while they do some upgrades. Perhaps I will start a new jigsaw puzzle.
