Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

Hi, I’m Tessa (she/her). I’m a third-year Environmental Design student, minoring in Photography. This is my first year as a Peer Mentor and I’m located in Toronto.

Despite pursuing a major in ID, my favourite artistic endeavour is photography. I would love to have more experience in the shops at OCAD U, specifically the wood shop. Unfortunately due to the pandemic I haven’t been able to get in there. I would also like to develop my commercial photography skills and 3D modeling software skills.

In a post-COVID-19 world, I suspect I will be more laid back and less hard on myself! The pandemic gave me a moment to pause and re-assess what’s important to me and this includes being kinder to myself. I look forward to getting back to in-school learning and a potential internship once things return to normal. I also look forward to seeing my friends at school!
