Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

My name is Ya’el (she/her). I am a fourth-year Graphic Design student. This is my second year as a Peer Mentor and I am also Co-President for the student group OCAD U Jewish Club!

I’m originally from Vancouver, BC, but currently I live in Toronto (and survived Toronto’s 48,387,493 lockdowns). I like to create work that educates others on bigger global issues as well as package design and branding. I want to develop my coding skills and continue to build my body of work as I near graduation. After COVID, I anticipate being much more conscious of how I use my time on campus as well as in-person collaborative opportunities.
