Meet an OCAD U student:

“Hi! My name is Christina van Putten (She/her) and I am a 4th year Material Art & Design Student, specializing in jewellery making and metal smithing.

While I primarily work with metal, I have an affinity for mixed media and love experimenting with different materials.

Over the past four years, I wanted to gain experience in as many of OCADU’s studios as possible, including: woodshop, plastics/rapid prototyping, metal shop, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and printmaking. A lot of my current work follows a sustainability initiative, specifically my Glaze drop gemstone collection.

Post graduation, I am looking forward to discovering opportunities within the product/industrial design realm as I never want to stop creating!”
