“So I went to restaurant (Parkette) and spoke to the owner. He likes the idea and is happy to help us, and between brunch and dinner (when he normally closes the restaurant) he will keep it open as a gallery, specifically so people can come in and view the photos over the course of the week. He may also be interested in keeping it as a permanent display. Lomography is way down from the park, but the restaurant backs onto the park… so I want to know what you all think?”

I like the idea of the Parkette being so close to the park,
Laura was saying that she needs to scan and send the photos to Lomography: will they also want the originals, or could we potentially display the photos in both places?
Or what about, after they’re displayed in Lomography (which i assume is a temporary thing), we move them to Parkette as a permanent display.. the event would have a much longer life that way.

I agree with Dayna… it might be more effective to do both. Have we verified that Lomography is temporary?

I think restaurant is more effective; however, displaying photos in both locations might work as well. We actually have to make decision soon since the information regarding where these photos can be found have to be printed and destributing this Saturday.

we can always just direct people to the website to find out where and when the photos will be displayed, so the place itself might not be necessary to include on the printed stuff

Then the idea of distributing the fliers won’t really make sense, because the fliers have to inform people where they will be able to see their photos; then we just should remove the idea with fliers…And we divided not to tell people that there is gonna be a facebook group with their picture; otherwise, they won’t come to the store/restaurant. This information we were planing to disclose at store/ restaurant later. Everything is connected to each other, that’s why I think it’s important to make the decision before Saturday.
