Light Switch Design

Sorry it’s not actually relevant to any actual course material, but I just had to post it, since we talked about it in class. The Floor Plan Light Switch.

Also, I started my own blog. Go check it out if you want, there’s not much there yet since I just started, but I’m going to post some more stuff soon, and often.

    Totally!

Almost certainly derivative of Donald Norman’s work but much improved aesthetically. However: how do you know which way the plan is oriented? It strikes me that the design suffers from the stove-dial mapping problem. Maybe it flips up from the wall?

    I love the cryptic comment:

“hoho~ it’s an idea for life, but not for market.”
