Middlebrook Prize

I am sending along information about the Middlebrook Prize for Young Canadian Curators that is coordinated and hosted by the Art Gallery of Guelph. Attached is a printable poster as well as the submission package that can be distributed to colleagues, potential applicants (including graduate students).
The Middlebrook Prize invites curators under the age of 30 to submit a proposal for an exhibition that will be presented at the Art Gallery of Guelph from September 13 – December 16, 2018.

The gallery is accepting proposals from January 5 until February 15, 2018 and the winning curator will receive an honorarium of $5,000 as well as support in producing the exhibition.
The 2018 Middlebrook Prize jury is composed of SRIMOYEE MITRA (Director of Stamps Gallery, Stamps School of Art and Design, Ann Arbor, Michigan), LISA STEELE (Artistic Director of VTape and Professor, University of Toronto John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design) and ANDREW HUNTER (Senior Curator, Art Gallery of Guelph).
