As an Experience Design Strategist Intern, here’s what you will do

  • Collaborate with the UX Design, UX Research, Analytics, and Market Research teams
  • Assist in creating research plans and help conduct various forms of research to uncover latent customer needs (ethnographic, evaluative, generative, market, competitive secondary research)
  • Assist in translating research findings into actionable opportunities for design
  • Work with the Senior HCD Planner to ensure smooth hand-off of outputs between teams occur upon completion of engagement (note: continuous touch-points post engagement will still occur)
  • Prioritizing features, making trade-offs based on customer value & relevance to the market
  • Help create tangible outputs including prototypes, experience maps, storyboards

 

 

What makes you a great fit?

 

0-2 years of work experience in a design environment and/or currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Design, HCI or related field

A passion and curiosity for learning about people and their motivations and behaviours to create solutions that are catered to their needs and fit into their lives

Strategic thinker who sees the big picture, but also able to make it real with tangible outputs

Prototyping experience with design tools and/or in the browser is an asset

Ability to articulate design rationale, describing benefits and highlighting risks

Comfort with ambiguity and experimentation, and the ability to quickly dive into a new domain or process

Possess analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong planning, organisation and documentation skills

Demonstrate writing and documentation skills.

Curious, detail-oriented problem solver

Supportive and collaborative team player
