Artists explore themes of Blackness in Canada, from
different parts of the world, Black wealth, employment, culture and tradition, education, the effects of colonialism and how it affects black identities alongside stereotypes of black people, while aiming to celebrate the present.
If we must move forward we have to address the past.
We will start gathering in the Lobby of 100 McCaul at 5:30 p.m and the reception will start at 6 p.m.
Come on out as OCADU BSA kickstarts Black History Month with the celebration of Black Richness!!
Consume and discuss the Artwork; Vybe with us, the performers, artists and guests until about 11 p.m.
This part of the exhibition will be up until 28th Feb!
