Opportunity for SFI students – Future City Builders

Future City

In Toronto, Future City Builders will engage 35 youth (18-29 years old) to develop entrepreneurial skills while improving their city. Modelled on YouthfulCities’ 30Lab program, Future City Builders brings together 30 youth in Toronto to create and launch innovative ideas on the housing system. Using design thinking and youthful thinking participants will emerge from the program with a skillset ready to support their careers.

We believe that young adults must be part of the solution. Through the 30Lab, we will look at the many faces of our housing system. The outcome is to create collaborative, city-level projects that lead to a more resilient housing system in the city.

Future City Builders is presented in partnership by YouthfulCities and Evergreen, championed by RBC Future Launch. The Future City Builder program is an initiative of Future Cities Canada, a national collaborative platform accelerating innovation to transform cities.
