As you may have heard, we will be holding a Public Sector Engagement Night at OCAD University.
We at SFI will be hosting, and also inviting OCAD University’s other graduate programs. It is an opportunity for public sector managers and executives to meet with you and give them a chance to discuss Design Thinking, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, Inclusive Design and Data Visualization, and give them a chance to see how your expertise can benefit their Department or Ministry, whether by hiring your or partnering on projects.
The event will be held Thursday March 21st at the Centre for Experiential Learning in the Rosalie Sharp Pavilion, 115 McCaul (at Dundas Street West) from 5:30 – 8:00pm.
Details regarding the RSVP will follow, but please hold the date.
The event will feature testimony from SFI students and alumni who have had the opportunity to work in the Public Sector. We will also hear from our first ever Public Servant in Residence, Tamara Girard, who will share her experiences of an academic year lived at the intersection of policy and design. This will be followed by time to mix and discuss. The event will be lightly catered and feature a cash bar.
