Small Research Funding Available: rare Charitable Research Reserve

rare

The rare Charitable Research Reserve with properties in Waterloo/Wellington offers small funding opportunities through our Ages Foundation Research Fellowship and Bursaries program and provides housing and facilities free of charge for graduate students conducting research at rare.

We provide research access to 900+ acres of ecologically diverse habitat in southern Ontario. The area includes remnant old-growth forests, diverse aquatic systems, tallgrass prairie, alvar, and a variety of other habitats.

Our website, at www.raresites.org, provides information about past and present research projects as well as our scholarship program.  Go to the ‘Researcher’ tab for more information.

Applications for scholarships for the 2019 field season should be submitted by 1 April, 2019; but research applications no associated with funding requests are welcome at any time.
