Drop- in writing sessions for Graduate Students: come with whatever you’re working on and keep writing in the company of others.

Fall 2019 Semester: Tuesdays 10AM-12PM 7th Floor, 205 Richmond St. W.

The Writing & Learning Centre (WLC) offers support services specifically for graduate students. Students in all programs and at all stages are welcome. One-on-one appointments with a Jessica Wyman or Rebecca Diederichs can be booked via The 45-minute sessions can help you tackle course assignments, navigate readings, explore writing strategies and help you move along on your Thesis or MRP. When booking, be sure to specify that you are a Masters student!


Our English Language Learning (ELL) specialist works with students who are not first-language English speakers to support writing and communication in English and to bridge new educational culture in research and in the classroom. These appointments with Phoebe Wang or Emilie Brancato can also be booked at


The weekly Show Up & Write program is already happening! Come join us on Tuesday mornings, 10am-12pm, in the 7th floor (RHA) open workspace. Commit to this regular writing time and bring your classmates along! Writing doesn’t have to be scary, and it doesn’t need to be done in isolation. Brief consultations with Jessica Wyman are available as needed.
