Design for Diversity” 2020 brings together 8 emerging designers from each OCAD University, (Toronto, Canada) and ENSI Les Ateliers (Paris, France) for a five-day virtual design workshop that will investigate a new role for designers as ‘cultural connectors. Students will be encouraged to look at the cultural diversity in both France and Canada with an optimistic, ‘designerly’ attitude. This stance is based on the expectations that every culture should be respected, and each culture has valuable elements or assets to share.
WHO SHOULD APPLY? Designers interested in collaboration to focus on interaction design, service design, product design and spatial design within the contemporary cultural diversity within the public sphere.
