The Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS) is excited to host a special award ceremony to honour the winners of the 2020 and 2021 CAGS slate of awards.

Join us in this virtual celebration of excellence as we pay tribute to some of Canada’s most aspirational students, researchers, and mentors. The event will feature a variety of live and pre-recorded presentations, including those delivered by the recipients of the CAGS Award for Outstanding Graduate Mentorship and the CAGS-ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award.

The 2020-2021 CAGS Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 4 November from 1:30-3:30 PM (ET) in a virtual setting. It will be conducted in both official languages, and an interpretation service will be provided simultaneously through a third-party service. The ceremony will be offered as part of our 59th Annual CAGS Conference programming, but it will also be open to the public. Attendees of the conference can access the Award Ceremony through their conference agenda portal (available in late October) and are not required to register in advance – those who are not attending the conference but wish to attend the Award Ceremony must register in advance.
