External Funding Workshop for First Year Graduate Students

Interested in applying for CGS-M (SSHRC, NSERC) and/or an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)? This session will provide students with further information about competitions, timelines and best practices. These are prestigious awards, and all full-time graduate students are encouraged to apply.

This salon brings together FoD faculty, and collaborators to encourage interdisciplinary exchange and to share the methods that they are using in their practice-based research. The salon is meant to provoke informal yet meaningful discussions across disciplines in a safe environment for conjecture, confusion, and speculation.

Forest Therapy | 1-4 pm | Wednesday, October 24th

This 3 hour guided activity and discussion, led by Carolynne Crawley, will focus on breaking down colonial ways of thinking that separate people from their natural surroundings, and building responsible and reciprocal relations with the land. Meet at the north Entrance to High Park at 1pm on Oct. 24th.

8th Annual Creative Industries Symposium, Creativity Connected

Creativity Connected, our 8th annual Creative Industries Symposium, explores the uniqueness of creative industries. All creativity is welcome! The theme for this year’s Symposium is “Interaction of Technology and Creativity.” This event is the only one of its kind in the Greater Toronto Area, and it is a FREE event hosted by The Town of Richmond Hill’s Economic Development.
