Response to Reading: Armatures, Grid and Grid systems

This reading applies exactly to what we are doing in Project 3, compartmentalizing informations and using a structure of  flat, geometric shapes to arrest and direct the eye guiding it to and through text.I found it a good read, i never knew the simplicity of something like a grid had such significance in the way we design, but it makes alot of sense..

I love when he compares Armatures to drawings saying that they employ principles of alignment, proportion, balance and harmony similar to the “instinctive logic governing a compositionally satisfying drawing”
