Launching IT Salons in the Learning Zone!
We are excited to announce a new workshop series is coming to the Learning Zone: the IT Salon! Whether you are stuck with a specific laptop or software application related issue, you want to learn more about the technology used here at OCAD U, or you simply need some pizza, the IT Salon is for you. Some of our in-house tech specialists — most of whom have an art or design background — will be in the LZ for one-on-one help. IT Salon will feature great presentations on relevant topics like The Art & Design of Rap and more. We want to provide a chance to get extra help from IT Services, learn something new and eat pizza.
The inaugural event kicks off on September 9, 2014 starting at 12:00 noon and featuring The Art & Design of Rap with Les Seaforth. Drop in, grab a slice and absorb all the delicious knowledge our IT Staff will graciously bestow upon you. See you at the Salon!
