Feedback on period B+related users

After the period B presentation and read the feedback I received, I realized that it is also a little bit unspecific on my target users group. I started to think about why I can’t narrow the group down. I realized that the persona I just added to the period B has a lot of frustrations which lead to an uncertain group. I need to figure out a specific question where their pressure from. For example, I may consider their pressure from both family and school works. These two origins of pressure may lead to different series of interview questions and will affect my next step process.

I prefer to research on high school students whose source of stress is related to their families and parents. So I narrowed down my target group as High school students who have many different opinions with their parents about their own plans, thus causing a lot of pressure and don’t know how to release them.(17-18 years old). I may focus more on the relationship and the communication with the teenagers and their family members.

I listed the related stakeholders and make an assumption of their needs to figure out the people and the questions I may prepare for the next step.img_1849

Period B-after presentation

After the presentation, I also felt that my target audience was a little wide. Children in middle school are different from children in high school in terms of psychological maturity and problems they may encounter. They also have a lot of different ways of looking at things. So I did some more thinking and research. I think high school is a very important stage in life. At this stage, we may decide what career we want to pursue and face great pressure for further study. Since we all go through this stage, we are more aware of the importance of emotions in this stage.

So I decided to focus on “pressure” again. The target users of the survey were teenagers aged 16-18 who were reluctant to express their stress. I added scenario to describe this group and the existing problems in more detail.%e5%b1%8f%e5%b9%95%e5%bf%ab%e7%85%a7-2020-10-05-%e4%b8%8b%e5%8d%887-19-20%e5%b1%8f%e5%b9%95%e5%bf%ab%e7%85%a7-2020-10-05-%e4%b8%8b%e5%8d%887-19-29
