Do you live in a rooming house? The City wants to hear from you.

Residential street scene

I know many of you live in rooming houses and probably have lots to say about the living conditions so now’s the time to step up and influence policy. The City of Toronto is currently undertaking a review of rooming houses (defined as a residence where four or more people live and share a kitchen or bathroom) and wants to hear from students as part of the consultation process.  I participated in a session a couple of weeks ago; it was very well run and raised a lot of interesting and important issues.

The consultation is on April 20, 2-4 pm at the Toronto Reference Library. You need to RSVP. The details are in this flyer:  Tenant Focus Group Flyer_Students
