One of the pieces of feedback we heard from our Student Communications Survey conducted last fall was to do a better job telling you what’s open during our Study Weeks. Our Winter Study Week takes place February 21 to 24. Keeping in mind that the Monday is the Family Day stat holiday and the university is closed, here’s what you can expect for the remainder of that week, Tuesday to Friday:
We’re open for business as usual
Most of our service areas like Financial Aid, the Registrar, Advising, the Library, Visual Resources and Learning Zone, IT Helpdesk, etc. are open for business as usual. So are our Shops and Studios (you can check their individual schedules via their webpage). Health & Wellness continues to be open and encourages students to take advantage of their drop-in counselling hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- The Print & Copy Centre is running slightly shorter hours, and will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
- Indigenous Counsellor Shawna Howe will be in the Indigenous Visual Culture Student Centre on February 22. The Centre will be closed February 23 and 24 for a field trip.
We’ve added special programming
For those of you who will be sticking around, there are numerous special opportunities you can take advantage of:
