Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:
Hi, I’m Scott Lalonde (he/him), part-time Photography student since 2017, and just over half finished the program! I am based in Toronto and this is my first year as a Peer Mentor.
I’m a lens-based artist who creates still images and time-based media. I’d like to develop how I conceive of new work and conceptualizing pieces before filming/photographing. I also want to be better at writing about my work, and in a post-COVID-19 world, I have to think more about how to share my work and how to better collaborate with other artists.
What am I most looking forward to in the future? Waking up in the morning, then going from there.
