Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

Hello, I am Angel (she/her). I am going into second-year Advertising this fall, and this is my first year as a Peer Mentor. I’m an International student from Indonesia who has been living in Canada since high school. So, if you are an international student, hit me up with any questions, I’ll be gladly to help ya!

I moved from Calgary to Toronto last year. Currently, I’m simply enjoying my summer holiday while working.

You guys might be wondering about online classes at OCAD U? Through my first-year, I was in online classes all year long, but I actually still learned a lot and enjoyed all of the classes and new classmates I met online through social media. I could easily reach out to the professors if I struggled in some subjects and had one-on-one calls with them! I’m not gonna lie, I personally love online classes, and because of this, I learned time management and was better organized.

I hope you will enjoy and learn so many new things at OCAD U and just keep on creating! I can’t wait to meet y’all soon!
