Meet the Campus Life Assistant:
Hello! My name’s Patricia Luk (she/her). I’m a 2020 Graphic Design graduate, currently working as Campus Life Assistant for summer 2021!
I started out at OCAD U as a Student Mentee, then became a Peer Mentor, and I have to say it was probably one of my best decisions—I was able to help out some new students while also building an awesome network of peers at the University.
Ultimately I want my work to mean something. I want to be able to help as many people as I can, whether that’s through my practice, or any form of work I’m currently doing. Because I graduated into a pandemic, it really made me start thinking about my life in a whole new light; trying to appreciate and live “in the now”, rather than the future. I’m still working on that though—it’s an ongoing journey!
