Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

“Hello wonderful people! I’m Bojana Tudorovic (she/her) and I’m a fourth-year Graphic Design student. I’ve been a Peer Mentor since 2019. Even though I’m born, raised, and currently live in Toronto there are still many places in the city for me to explore and have mini adventures.

The work I create is pretty diverse, but currently I’m trying to get back into making comics and storytelling alongside product/packaging design and branding.

That being said you can never stop improving your technical skills and I’ll definitely be trying to do that whenever I can. But some useful skills I’d really like to improve on is my coding, as with digital work and mainly being a digital artist it would benefit me a lot.

I have no idea what this past year and a bit would look like without COVID. But being away from my peers, the classroom, and just downtown was a real struggle mentally as I bounce ideas off of others and get my energy from socializing. Hopefully everyone does their part, and we can return safely. I can say with the pandemic my learning style in person will have changed a bit as my germaphobia has gotten worse since this all started, but I’m working on it to be comfortable and safe.

I’m looking forward to seeing my friends in person, hopefully meeting my mentees in person and getting comfortable in the world again.
