Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

“Hi, my name is Bridget (she/they). I’m a Life Studies student going into third-year, minoring in Illustration and taking some biology courses on the side. This is my first year as a Peer Mentor, so I’m nervous and excited to meet new people!

Right now, I’m in Ottawa, but hoping to return to Toronto for the fall. My work is a lot of things—just like my courses—I haven’t found my niche yet, so I dabble in everything from illustrations and 3D animations to oil paintings to sculpture and printmaking. My more serious work examines cultural identity and mental health, but I also love being inspired by everyday objects: a peeled orange, a sleeping cat, or the way the light hits your hands at sunset.
