Meet a 2021 Peer Mentor:

“I’m Omar Zayed (he/him), second-year student majoring in Environmental Design. This is my first year as a Peer Mentor. I’m currently living in Qatar a small country in the Middle East, and I’m super excited to help other students and meeting new people this year.

I like to work with different types of art such as photography, modelling, painting, etc. However, the past year was hectic for me keeping myself motivated with doing art, doing everything from a distance, as well as learning new software and watching a lot of tutorials that would help me with my assignments. I would love to develop my drawings skills and sewing skills and using Photoshop, Illustrator lol. Hopefully, life would come back to normal after COVID. What I’m really looking forward to is being able to go back to my hometown Haifa, Palestine. Feel free to HMU if you have any questions or you would like to chat.”
