Stop-Motion Self Portrait

Photobooth

  • Open program
  • Take a series of sequential images
  • Edit if necessary

iMovie

  • File-> Project Properties -> Timing -> Initial Photo Placement – “fit in frame”
  • Drag & drop photos from Photobooth into your iMovie bin
  • Select a clip and go to Clip Adjustments
  • Alter the duration to 0.2 seconds or whatever you like and make sure “Apply
  • to all stills” is checked
  • Press play to see the results
  • Share -> Export using Quicktime (Use:Broadband High)

    • Sign on using these settings

    Hostname: webspace.ocad.ca
    Username: Your OCAD Username (ie. aa07bb [students] or jdoe [faculty])
    Password: Your OCAD Password
    Protocol: SFTP (Not FTP – Very Important!)

    • Open the “www” folder
    • Drag & drop your files including index.html

    • Hyper Text Markup Language
    • HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language
    • A markup language is a set of markup tags
    • HTML uses markup tags to describe web pages
    • The purpose of a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox) is to read HTML documents and display them as web pages.

    HTML Tags

    • HTML tags are keywords surrounded by angle brackets like <html>
    • HTML tags normally come in pairs like <b> and </b>
    • The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag
    • Start and end tags are also called opening tags and closing tags

    HTML Documents = Web Pages

    2. HTML documents contain HTML tags and plain text
