• CALL FOR ENTRY: Art House Café Lecture Series

Upper year undergraduate and graduate students, and recent graduates of Art History or related fields are invited to propose topics to be presented as talks for the Art House Café Lecture Series at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. This series is devoted to the cultivation and sharing of ideas, and aims to promote both the study of art history and the research of emerging scholars throughout Ontario. Lectures will be presented once a month from January to April 2015, following a keynote talk in late fall 2014. A small honorarium will be paid to each speaker. Please note that although we welcome proposals from across Ontario, we are currently not able to provide assistance with travel costs.

Hosted in the Grimsby Public Libraryʼs Periodicals Reading Room, the Art House Café Lecture Series is free to the public, and a café reception will follow each talk.

The Art House Café Lecture Series is dedicated to the memory of Pat and Edith Brown, two dedicated members of the arts community in Grimsby and long-time supporters of the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. The series is run in partnership with the Grimsby Public Library.
