• Japan International Opportunities Program

The Japan International Opportunities Program, in association with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Summer Program, will allow up to 10 selected students to spend more than two months in supervised research in Japan, with the costs covered by the Government of Japan.

The JSPS Summer Program provides opportunities for young pre- and post-doctoral researchers from North America and Europe to receive an orientation on Japanese culture and research systems and to pursue research under the guidance of host researchers at Japanese universities and research institutes over a period of two months during the summer. The Japan International Opportunities Program selects Canadian candidates for the program.

DEADLINE: Midnight on December 15, 2014.
