The next edition of the prestigious Media Art History – MAH Re-Create 2015 conference will be hosted by Hexagram in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), November 5 to 8.

In tandem with this conference, a committee of students is organizing a one-day symposium on November 4th for international and local emerging researchers who wish to attend the main conference, while also having an opportunity to present their research and practice, to exchange ideas with peers and receive feedback from experts in related areas.

Hexagram sera l’hôte de la prochaine édition du prestigieux colloque des Media Art Histories – MAH Re-Create 2015 qui se tiendra à Montréal (Québec, Canada), du 5 au 8 novembre.

Dans le cadre de ce colloque, un comité formé d’étudiants organise un symposium d’une journée le 4 novembre, dédié aux chercheurs émergents internationaux et locaux qui souhaiteraient participer à Re-Create 2015, tout en ayant l’opportunité de présenter leur recherche et leur pratique, d’échanger avec d’autres étudiants et de recevoir les commentaires de spécialistes.

On February 1, 2015 apexart opens its 8th annual Franchise Program, a call for exhibition proposals from anyone to be presented anywhere except New York City. No prior curatorial experience necessary.
ApexArt accepts:

  • Proposals for an idea-driven, group exhibition for anywhere except NYC
  • Proposals are a maximum of 500 words. No images or links accepted.
  • Winners selected by a jury of over 100 creative professionals using apexart’s online anonymized crowd-source voting system
  • 4 winners will receive a budget of $8,000, a curatorial honorarium, and administrative support to present their idea as an apexart Franchise Exhibition
