Engaging Communitie: The 2015 conference of the Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC)

York University will be hosting the 2015 conference of the Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC); the conference will run from April 30 to May 2 and its theme is “Engaging Communities”.

We have planned a number of stimulating guest speakers as well as opportunities for discussion of important issues facing universities today.  Further information about SWAAC is available on its website: http://www.swaac.ca/; and about the conference at: http://swaac.info.yorku.ca/.

In addition to what we hope will be an informative and productive formal program, the conference will provide an excellent opportunity for women (both academic administrators and senior staff) who hold – or aspire to hold – a range of leadership roles from universities and colleges across Canada to meet and to share best practices, anecdotes, and ideas.

The conference, is be held at the Sheraton Centre in downtown Toronto, is open to both members and non-members of SWAAC, and I am writing to invite you to consider joining us for this event.   The cost for members is $445 before April 1 ($495 after that date) and for non-members $545 before April 1 ($595 after that date).   Further registration information and a link to register can be found on the website.
