1. Research on plants and data visualization/experience design

A local company is looking for an OCAD U researcher to partner on an exciting new project. They are looking for someone with experience in plant research and/or data visualization and experience design expertise. A little bit of background on this project:

Language has evolved over time. Today, technologies have enabled people to communicate with each other as if they all spoke in one single language all around the world, by translating from one language to another in an instant. What if we can provide the same possibilities with other species on earth?  The research project is focused on translating other species’ needs into data visualization. The approach is to study and understand the needs, desires, and emotions of a plant by connecting sensors into the soil and translating into data visualization that even a child would understand.
