Join the OCAD U Library on Wednesday June 4^th from 3pm, to be a part of Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon.

Art+Feminism Edit-a-Thon responds to a Wikimedia Foundation 2010 survey, which concluded that only 13% of Wikipedia contributors are female. Significant women in history and art are under-represented on Wikipedia!

Let’s correct the gender gap by adding and contributing articles to rebalance the visibility of women artists in the Wikipedia space.The event is open to everyone—no experience necessary. Beginners should arrive at 3:00pm for a tutorial. Experienced editors will be on hand to provide one-on-one help throughout the event.
