“My teaching approach is student centered. I understand that first year students are undergoing major transitions – from high school to post-secondary, from youth to adulthood. I hope that all students I teach, leave my classroom with greater confidence than when they started, with a better understanding of their own potential, and secure in the knowledge that OCAD U is best place to nurture their careers.”

Sexy or modest, sometimes chosen with a theme in mind, and, occasionally outlandish, wedding shoes are the exclamation point in a well-crafted statement of style and individuality. Ron Wood’s portraits of wedding shoes are about love and friendship, old customs and new ones, and, of course, beauty.
As a photographer for The Bata Shoe Museum, Ron has photographed many of the museum’s historical collections. Now, in A Beautiful Step Forward: Wedding Shoe Portraits, he explores the significance of wedding shoes in contemporary culture
